About Me

Anna Melemendjian

I have been Lino printing for ten years now.  My work depicts a moment in time, often in Norfolk, which is captured through the camera lens.

The image is transferred onto lino,

then unwanted areas carved out using sharp chisels.  Methods include multi blocks or reduction.  Each multi block can be printed and repeated numerous times to create a series of multi block prints in various colours.

Although, I have a degree in fine art, I am self taught in this process and continue to practise in the medium of lino printing as there is always something new to learn.

My Studio

My studio is in rural South Norfolk.  Here, I spend hours carving my Lino and printing with my press.  Lino printing is a technique which has many different aspects, there is so much to explore and learn with this technique, there is never a dull moment!

Please contact me below for any information about my process or if you would like to visit my studio.
